Our menus at Viceroy House celebrate the best local ingredients and styles while still nodding to dishes more familiar to our visiting guests.

Our head chef takes great pride in using each and every part of an ingredient so, alongside delicious Sri Lankan curries expect the likes of:

Pan Seared Thalapath with Cauliflower Green Curry, Roasted Cauliflower Florets, Pickled Cauliflower Stems, Deep Fried Cauliflower Leaves

Pan Seared Mullet, with Beetroot Puree, Sauteed Beetroot Leaves,Pickled Lotus Root, Lotus Root Chips

DINING OPTIONS GALORE

In fitting with its grand heritage, Viceroy House boasts a wonderfully spacious main dining room. But don’t imagine we’ll herd you unwillingly in there.

Enjoy the terrace overlooking the lawn or the main courtyard. Sip and sup happily by the pool or enjoy your own tailored private dining spot.

THE MOBILE BAR

On the best of days the happy clatter of the densely packed drinks trolley fills the air.

Sundowners on the terrace; pre-lunch aperetifs on the back lawn; late-night brandy's in the study room - all easily arranged.
